Job Description:
JOB
Performs analysis, design, programming, maintenance, and support on
new and existing information systems. Works under the general
direction of the IT Application Manager.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and
information needs; conferring with stakeholders; studying systems
flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design
using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test,
and deploy software solutions.Development, implementation of
web-based applications, Web Service and data integration solutions.
Document and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation,
flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear
code.Actively participate in product design reviews by providing
creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork
environment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude required.
Provides application-related technical support.Performs other
duties as directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications Associates degree in computer science or
related field. Experience using C#, ASP.Net and the .Net framework.
Strong database experience writing SQL queries, views, and stored
procedures. Extensive experience developing web-based applications
using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and modern Frameworks. Ability to
communicate well with technical and non-technical staff. Proven
analysis and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated track record of
effective customer service skills and ability to prioritize and
manage multiple tasks Equivalency Equivalency equals two years of
directly related professional experience for every year of
education not completed. The stated experience requirement is in
addition to any experience used to meet the education equivalency.
Desired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems or related discipline, ITIL Foundation
Certified. Extensive knowledge of modern design, development, and
analysis techniques. Thorough experience in Microsoft development
technologies using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web API, REST
Web Services, and Entity Framework. SharePoint development
experience using Search, Managed Metadata, User Profile Services,
and Nintex workflow automation desired. A candidate with experience
developing in Javascript frameworks such as Angular or React would
be a plus. The ideal candidate would have Report development
experience using PowerBI or SSRS, also database experience using
Oracle 11.x and/or SQL Server.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of the job, the
employee is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or
airborne particles less than 1/3 of the time. The noise level in
the work environment is usually quiet. Physical DemandsWhile
performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to sit
and use hands to finger, handle, or feel more than 2/3 of the time;
and to talk or hear 1/3 to 2/3 of the time. The employee is
required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl less than 1/3 of the time. The employee
must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds less than 1/3 of the time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
