Job Description:

As a Warehouse Technician, you will work in a blended role providing cross-functional support to the Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, Quality, and other teams. This role will report up to the QA & Logistics Manager. Your first priority will be handling, inspecting, and packaging machines that are ready to ship to customers. Second to that, you will pick and kit components for manufacturing job orders. You will also assist with handling, receiving, and stocking incoming parts and materials. You will maintain the existing processes in these areas, and work with the team to improve them. This includes supporting continuous improvement, quality inspection, manufacturing, and safety, as well as other tasks as necessary.
Primary near-term goals are to help: 1) Improve Shipping efficiency by supporting the physical process.2) Sustain a constant flow of materials into Manufacturing by picking and kitting job orders. 3) Assist with daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.4) Support operations in a startup environment with varying responsibilities.

    Responsibilities & Duties:
    • Handle, inspect, and package machines to maintain efficient shipping flow
    • Complete and file relevant documentation
    • Cycle count inventory
    • Pick and stage manufacturing job orders throughout the day
    • Support receiving through count verification and incoming inspection as needed
    • Consolidate inventory in both bin and pallets, as needed, to ensure effective use of space
    • Be able to pivot and reprioritize as daily plans change
    • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures in order to accurately inspect, organize, or gather parts, equipment, and products
    • Follow the instructions of management and team members in each respective area, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement
    • Clearly communicate quality issues to colleagues and management
    • Assist with other projects as needed
    • Generally contribute to team efforts by ensuring high quality across the board
