Job Description:

The Collateral Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the administration of Pingora's collateral management and final certification processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
--- Govern relationship with Pingora sellers and Pingora document custodians to ensure timely clearing of collateral exceptions required for the release of seller holdbacks and agency final certifications.
--- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports.
--- Produce and maintain departmental Policies and Procedures.
--- Ensure compliance of all agency guidelines relating to final documents.
--- Substantiate adherence of internal controls. Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on strengthening of internal controls and of providing operational efficiencies.
--- Assist in fulfilling outstanding document requests with sellers and custodians.
--- Other duties as assigned. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
--- Advanced knowledge of the mortgage servicing/mortgage banking industry, specifically understanding custodian and collateral requirements for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
--- Demonstrated proficiency of the Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to produce professional presentations and reports.
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
--- Detail oriented and self-motivated with the ability to meet multiple time sensitive deadlines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
--- Minimum of 1-3 years of loan servicing experience preferred.
