BridgeHealth Care Coordinators work hand-in-hand with members to introduce, coordinate, and guide members through their BridgeHealth experience. In this caseload carrying role, you will have an opportunity to improve members lives. This is currently a Monday-Friday daytime position with overtime to be expected as business needs require. Execution Machine: You thrive under pressure, consistently meeting expectations and commitments, oftentimes on tight deadlines, all while managing a variety of tasks and relationships in an efficient and meticulous manner without losing your cool.What Youll Do:Act as a liaison with patient referral sources, maintaining a caseload of patient referralsCommunicate and follow-up with plan members to ensure understanding of the program and its benefitsCoordinate the scheduling and approval process from the initial request for surgery to patient placementObtain the necessary information demographic, financial, clinical and other pertinent data to complete referral processObtain medical records in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an expedited processMaintain and update application with current data, pertinent information, and status of casesCollaborate with providers, clinics and facilities, and various levels of management to effectively resolve issuesWork closely with applicable provider system and billing groups as neededEffectively address and resolve patient barriers to utilize the benefit including working with members to address program questionsMaintain confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA regulationsDemonstrate BridgeHealths core valuesComply with policies such as attendance, dress code, etc.Be willing and available to work overtime as neededRequirements: You Are/Have:Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsA delight the customer attitude2 to 4 years customer relationship and phone center experiencePrior healthcare industry experience with a working knowledge of medical terminology and health benefits claim processStrong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and follow-throughProject management-type skills; prior experience managing a high-volume caseloadAn ability to focus in a high energy atmosphereOpenness and understanding that dynamic environments include change, and welcoming that change with a positive attitudeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and contact center-style phone systemsYou Might Also Have:Bilingual (written/spoken) in Spanish and English experienceResumes from third parties will be automatically disqualified.
