A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE Responsible for verification and review of financial documentation submitted by the borrower(s) leading to the creating of a financial profile used to determine and submittal of the appropriate workout option. Managing pipeline for Liquidation options that borrower has chosen and following the accounts through to application completion. Responsible for the review of short sale offer and closing docs, and processing them to result in liquidation. Also, handling one off and special request's as directed by management. Primary Accountabilities

  • Reviewing financial and contractual documents for compliance
  • Monitor and review loans in the pipeline for timeline and compliance.
  • Review data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain current knowledge for loss mitigation programs
  • Special requests provided by management.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Required:
    • Advanced expertise required of bankruptcy and foreclosure
    • Advanced understanding of underwriting
    • Advanced knowledge of the organization and internal points of contact.
    • Advanced verbal and written communication skills; significant knowledge of mortgage servicing systems and applications, investor guidelines, mortgage insurance guidelines and loan workout strategies.
    • Intermediate PC/ Microsoft Office skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws and compliance requirements related to loan servicing.
    • Ability to maintain professional independence while working closely with business units.
    • Needs to be creative in seeking optimum solution to a problem and extensive knowledge of mortgage loan servicing policies and procedures.
    • Must possess strong analytical/critical thinking skills and have the ability to suggest ways to minimize compliance risk; and the ability to prioritize workload and balance attention toward multiple projects.
    • Must display adequate understanding of secondary marketing, comprehensive knowledge of resolution strategy, ability to identify cash flow potential in order to reduce risk and control delinquency.       • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
      • Experience with multiple loan products (Alt-A, Sub Prime, FHA, VA and Insured) and servicing related functions.
      • Experience with workout options such as: modifications, deed-in-lieu, short sales, repayment plans, etc. and repurchase provisions Loss Mitigation experience preferably in a Mortgage Serv environment preferred. Language Ability Ability to read/analyze/interpret business periodicals/ journals/technical procedures/gov. regulations; write reports/business correspondence/procedure manuals; effectively present information/respond to questions from managers/clients/customers/public. Mathematical Ability Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
