Lockheed Martin Space in Boulder, CO is looking for an experienced level program planner (early - mid career) to support the OPIR (Overhead Persistent Infrared) missions, considered one of the nation-s highest priority space program providing early missile warning for the U.S. military. We-ll need you to lead by example and have the ability to influence and foster collaboration and teamwork that generates impactful results. You will be part of a team that plans and manages detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations. Responsibilities will include: - Interface with Engineering, Finance and Business Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline - Develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program - Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between stakeholders - Assist in negotiating hand-offs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required - Serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience. Basic Qualifications: - 4-6 years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity - Working knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project (preferred), RTP, Primavera, ProjectView - Earned Value Management experience - Ability to perform typical schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis - Must be a United States citizen - Able to obtain a Top Secret government security clearance Desired Skills: - Bachelors degree from an accredited college - Active DoD Top Secret Clearance - Advanced to expert knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project (preferred), RTP, Primavera, ProjectView - Additional Planning knowledge/experience (examples: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP)) - Experience with software development programs - Experience with resource loaded schedules - Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
