Successful completion of the internship can lead to a full time career opportunity at TIAA, upon graduation. Retail Financial Services (RFS) brings together the organizations that serve our individual clients, including our TIAA Bank, Individual Advisory Services, Direct Investor Services, Retail Investment Products and Digital groups. With a position in the Outreach & Engagement group, you will work in partnership with TIAA Wealth Management Advisory teams. He/she proactively contacts unengaged TIAA clients, referrals and marketing leads to introduce TIAA?s Wealth Management Advisory services. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** Summer Interns will work on an exciting mix of strategically-aligned challenging assignments and projects that help drive the achievement of the organization's strategy and mission. Managers and colleagues will work side by side with summer interns to ensure development and learning. Candidates can expect to gain an understanding of TIAA and the Financial Services industry and will be involved in creating resolutions for complex problems and/or transactions where business expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: As part of the RFS Summer Intern Program, participants will have the opportunity to experience: ? Ten weeks doing meaningful and strategic work as part of the RFS Organization ? Unique networking opportunities with senior leaders across TIAA ? Ongoing personal and professional development opportunities ? Opportunities to interact with interns from across TIAA **Qualifications:** **QUALIFICATIONS:** **Required Skills:** ? Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or Business Management ? Graduating between December 2019 and August 2020 ? Minimum Overall GPA of 3.0 or better **Preferred Skills:** ? Overall GPA of 3.2 or better ? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (2 years academic or work experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) ? Experience with SharePoint and/or Tableau ? Interest in the Financial Services Industry ? Extracurricular program participation in major-related areas ? Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and conceptual skills ? Excellent communication (written and oral), with senior leaders and peers, facilitation, interpersonal and collaborative skills ? Self-directed, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision ?
