Description: Littleton, CO: Electronics Engineer, ASIC & FPGA Design, Communications System DSP will leverage their experience in ASIC and FPGA development, digital signal processing and communication theory in addition to perform the following tasks. - Participate as a senior member of a small technical team of ASIC/FPGA designers to achieve project goals. - Assist the project lead to establish development project plans and manage them to completion. - Derive specification based on customer requirements. - Develop RTL utilizing a hardware description language (e.g. VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog) and debug the design via simulation tools. - Perform synthesis and place and route (FPGA) or support foundry backend development activities (ASIC). - Develop verification plans and approaches to support development. - Support technical reviews and be able to present to internal and external customers. *Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance required for this role. *This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen Ketwords: Electronics Engineer, Electrical Engineer, ASIC, Application-Specific Integrated Circuits , SoC, FPGA, Field Programmable Gate Arrays, DSP, Protected Tactical Waveform, PTW,channelization, beamforming, VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog Basic Qualifications: ASIC/FPGA design or verification experience *This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen Desired Skills: - Subject Matter Expert in ASIC and FPGA development, digital signal processing and communication theory - Experience in protected communication signal processing applications - Experience with Protected Tactical Waveform (PTW) application - Experience in communication system signal processing (channelization, beamforming, waveform development) - Experience in the architecture definition, design, debug and test of FPGA devices used in high reliability applications with minimal technical oversight. - Experienced in developing FPGAs/ASICs for high-reliability applications in space environments - HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog for synthesis. - Experience evaluating Information Processing cores from multiple vendors and performing trade studies to determine optimal solution. - Experience developing with Xilinx FPGA/SoCs - Experiene leading a team of ASIC/FPGA Designers - Active TS/SCI Clearance BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
