Essential Responsibilities----- Interprets and completes Micro-modules Inventory Form, Micro-modules Incoming Inspection Form, Micromodules Router Audit Trail Form, RFID Incoming Inspection Form, RFID inventory and Smart Card Shop Floor Router. Reads and interprets the Micro-modules Router Audit Trail Form, Smart Card Shop Floor Router, Fabrication Shop Floor Router, CMI Work Instruction CML Work Instruction, Pre-Perso Work Instruction CPI RFID Product Glossary, CPI RFID Keys list, and Workmanship Manual to determine if cards, RFID inlays and micro-modules meet required specifications.Verifies the conformance of product to all applicable customer and governing bodies--- specifications. Identify nonconforming products as appropriate. Monitor operation(s) to detect defects or machine malfunctions.Troubleshoot and solve minor machine malfunctions. Measure dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.Identify when machine output is outside of acceptable parameters.Perform corrective action(s) as required. Visually examines cards to detect defects such as hickeys/voids, mis-registration, magnetic stripe location, signature panel quality, and hologram quality. Visually examines glue tape and micro-module for any defects. Visually examines embedded micro-modules to detect defects such as holes, position and orientation of micro-module Observe, report, and document quality data information on the Smart Card Shop Floor Router. Perform major machine maintenance as directed by supervision and keep work area clean and organized. Ancillary Responsibilities--- Adhere to all CPI security requirements including counting and documenting the disposition of all cards to and from the operation (Audit Trail Procedure, Count Information, and Destruction forms). Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Quality Management System Program. Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Safety Program. Must be able to work flexible hours as required. Education and/or experience: Language skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions (written and verbal).Ability to write simple report Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Mathematical skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Directly supervises 3 to--12 employees from micro-modules Lamination, Milling, implanting, and pre-personalization.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand (up to 12 hrs/shift) and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10-pound sleeves of cards.They will be required to move roll around carts which may weigh up to 100 pounds.Good vision required for this job and this includes close vision and color vision. In executing some functions of the job, the employee is required to reach above and away from their body and bend, twist, and/or squat.While performing this job, the employee will execute repetitive motions with their arms and hands.
