Job Description:
Step into a role as a Parent Educator at Bright Horizons where
you will produce and present parenting webinars and workshops for
parents and caregivers of children ages 0-8 years-old, and aid in
the creation of resources (articles, scripts) related to child
development and general parenting support. With a strong
understanding of child development and early education theory, you
will create parenting support resources that are empathy-driven,
solution-oriented, and research-based. Additionally, some
skills/experience/background with developmental delays and special
needs is preferred.This is aremote role working from the Pacific or
Mountain Time Zone. This position is Part-Time at approximately 20

professionally.Responsibilities:Depending on the line of business,
the position may perform some or all of the below functions:
- Develop, produce, and facilitate large and small-scale live and
pre-recorded events including workshops and webinars to Bright
Horizons parents and caregivers.
- Research child development topics to support development of
family-facing content
- Write and editing parent-facing articles
- This position will work with other members of the Education &
Development department and may also serve as a contributor on other
team and department projects.
- Facilitate in person and virtual events. Some travel may be
required for in-person events.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field: family studies,child
development, psychology, education, social work - Required
- Master's degree preferred in related field: familystudies,
child development, psychology, education, social work;
- 3years Past experience in developing and facilitating adult
learning and training - RequiredAdditional Job Requirements
- Demonstrated public speaking skills in live, in-person, and
virtual spaces
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Basic computer software skills in Microsoft Office
applications
- Background in early childhood educationSalary/Hourly Rate and
Other Compensation Disclosures:The hourly starting salary for this
position is $34/hr. The pay range listed here is what Bright
Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a
variety of factors including experience, education and training,
certifications, geography, and other relevant business or
