DescriptionWhat You'll DoSupport REMPREX initiatives and goals through the completion of required client intermodal activities in a fast-paced outdoor environment.ResponsibilitiesComplete manual gate workload in compliance with Service Level Requirements (SLR)Proper placement and removal of holds in the client systemPlacing appropriate tags on equipment entering the facilityCompletion of yard check, as requiredMust understand and be in compliance with REMPREX and client rules, regulations, and safety guidelines at all times, including e-RAILSAFE badges and personal protective equipment (PPE)Basic knowledge of hand-held scanners/computersUnderstand the checkpoint In-Gate and Out-Gate process & be able to troubleshoot Gate processing issues using client-specific softwareUnderstand and operate checkpoint support systemsConduct visual inspection of equipment condition and note damages for both container and chassisEnforce compliance with American Association of Railroads (AAR) regulationsAssisting drivers in locating containers within the facility and resolving any issues they may haveRequiredHigh School Diploma, or equivalent intermodal industry experienceAnalytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft - Office suite, specifically Word, Excel - , and PowerPoint -Comfortable lifting 50Ibs as requiredLocationThis role is based out of Denver, CO 80216This role requires employees to be on-site, as required.Work EnvironmentThis role takes place in an office environment as well as intermodal railyards.
