of Denver Prevailing Wage Law. The base prevailing rate is
$17.29/hr for 2023, however other rates may apply depending on job
assignment within the scope of the job description.General
Summary:Routine grounds installation and maintenance duties
including facility exterior cleanliness, lawn and planting care,
seasonal maintenance, snow and ice removal, and special
projects.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:By Direction,
maintenance and daily upkeep:Complete care of all landscaping,
trees, shrubbery, lawns, floral, and green belt areas of the
property.Cleans facility exterior hard surfaces including loading
dock areas. Trash and debris removal, and snow and ice
removalIrrigation systems and timing mechanismsFacility cleaning of
exterior hard walls and doorsExterior furnishings, fixtures and
equipmentExterior flagsMakes recommendations to Lead Groundskeeper
with regards to proper and sufficient tools, supplies, and
equipment to perform assigned tasksWorks in a team environment to
help ensure facility successMaintains a safe working
environmentOther duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this

Experience:Three to five years experience in a grounds maintenance
positionLandscaping and horticulture experience preferredSkills and
Abilities:Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the methods and skill
in the use of equipment, materials, and tools appropriate for
grounds keeping and heavy equipment operation (i.e., hand tools,
mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, forklifts, sweepers, plows,
front-end loaders, power washers, etc.)Ability to read and
interpret diagrams, sketches, blueprints, and manufacturers'
manualsAbility to communicate effectively with others, both
verbally and in writing including good organizational and
inter-personal skillsExcellent record of dependability and
reliability, requiredPerform job tasks effectively despite sudden
deadlines and changing priorities, requiredWork effectively with
diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization;
skill to work effectively as part of a team, requiredComputer
Skills:Experience with computer-based operating systems and basic
softwareCertifications, Licenses, Registrations:Must be in
possession of and maintain a valid Class C Colorado Driver
LicenseMust complete annual Forklift Training and any other
