Job Description:

The Statistician is responsible for compiling the official stats during GETSEEN events. This will include the following: maintains scores and records for each competition, compiles statistics for each game, records and/or posts individual and team statistics in accordance with official rules and requirements, assist coaches, officials, and other table staff as needed, have knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn, specific game protocol as it pertains to NCAA, FIBA and GETSEEN rules. During events, the Statistician may have to interact with and work alongside the following: assigned game officials, Event Management staff, and Marketing and Promotions staff. Requirements Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the game of basketball rules and regulations.This position also requires a knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn, specific game protocol as it pertains to NCAA, FIBA and GETSEEN rules.Must be able to observe and react quickly to events on the court/athletic venue.Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.The successful candidate for this position may be required to complete a criminal background check.
