visible-light and infrared systems, missile defense, space
exploration and much more.We are seeking a Systems Integration/Test
Engineer to support the Mission Payload IPT. This position will
support the Next-Gen OPIR GEO (NGG) program within the Optical
Center of Excellence (OPCoE) organization. You will work
shoulder-to-shoulder and partner with the MPL Leadership, NGG OPIR
Leadership, MPL Suppliers and LM Subject Matter Experts to
successfully coordinate planning and develop plans to Integrate and
Test the Mission Payload onto the OPIR SV.The focus of this role
will be to closely support the MPL integration & test lead as a
primary integration/CONOPS POC with both payload suppliers as well
as coordinating with other program IPTs (Flight SW, ATLO,
Simulation, SEIT, etc). You will coordinate work required to ingest
scripts/scenes/etc. into a flight equivalent testbed.
Responsibilities of this role are as much or more software centric
rather than hardware focused. You will have the responsibility to
orchestrate integration activities including but not limited to:
early integration demonstrations, pre/post delivery testing,
supporting planning and integration into the OPIR Space Vehicle.
You would typically have a Bachelors degree and 5-10 years of
professional experience, a Masters and 3-8 years, or a PhD and 0-5

experience in an integration and/or test environment for
electro-optical systems--- Experience as a lead systems engineer---
Experience working on sensor subsystems--- Provide detailed
briefings to management and/or customer--- Active Secret clearance
or equivalentDesired Skills:--- Currently holds an active TS/SCI---
Knowledge or direct hands-on experience working with Optics and
Optical Systems. Handling, Assembly, Alignments, Testing and
general understanding of Optics and Optics Systems.---
Understanding of schedules and test flows designed for safety and
efficiency of assembly and test.--- Working knowledge of ATLO
integration and test protocols, assembly and test approaches.---
Experience working with diverse teams of engineers and technicians
to execute preparations, assembly, test and procedural activities
on high value hardware in clean room environments.--- Thorough
knowledge and understanding of CIPS as it relates to ATLO
Operations--- Understanding of standard ATLO tools such as SAP,
VE-CAMS and Automation Framework (AF)--- Demonstrated ability to
effectively apply lessons learned and best practices from
Integration and Testing experiences to develop and champion Design
for Integration and Test (DFx) initiative--- Experience working in
a collaborative environment to develop planning and products needed

in Colorado or Washington is $89,600 - $171,800. Please note that
