This role is a senior level position in the voice services group which will provide advanced technical experience related to voice design, implementation, and migrations. This individual is expected to understand common industry voice technology and methodologies to implement a Cisco Voice platform in an enterprise setting.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Remote position\n* Lead, mentor, and coach other Engineers to build their skills and readiness in technology, portfolio, and platform responsibilities. \n* Work with project managers and other engineers to successfully migrate legacy voice platforms to a Cisco voice technology solution.\n* Continue to evolve and enhance the voice platform for future technology, optimization, and operational excellence.\n* Help establish technology, documentation, and implementation standards for current and future deployments.\n* Interpret business and medical requirements into actionable voice technology deliverables.\n* Capable of moving projects forward with minimal supervision or oversight.\n* Personally motivated to learn new technologies, understand organizational challenges and use creative processes to deliver improved services for our patents, staff, and ministry.\n\nQualifications\n\n* Qualified candidates must possess a combination of business, technical and leadership skills. They must be change advocates and innovators, quick learners, results-oriented, and creators of compelling technology roadmaps. Mentoring and influencing others in a matrixed team environment is critical to success. \n* Five (5) or more years of experience in technology solutions engineering, technical infrastructure, or technical operations is preferred\n* Demonstrated domain specific knowledge in multiple technologies is preferred, including but not limited to: Unified Communications, Contact Center or IT Consulting experience in a Cisco voice technology realm. Cisco focused Unified communications call control platforms, unified messaging, presence technology, and Gateways\n* Experience with Legacy PBXs (Avaya, Nortel, Mitel), 3 rd party handsets (Spectralink, Ascom, CareAware), SPOK integrations a big plus\n* Experience with UC provisioning and monitoring tools\n* Demonstrated delivery and/or migrations to a unified communications platform including presence technology, unified messaging and 3 rd party integrated services\n* Holistic UC understanding: Topology, Network, QOS requirements, troubleshooting voice and network issues, Dial plan, TDM, SIP, carriers and 3 rd party integrations.\n* Strong time management and task focused delivery capabilities. \n* Industry certifications a plus (CCNA / CCNP - Collaboration, CCIE - Collaboration) \n* One or more years of experience in the healthcare or medical industry a plus\n* Knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH, Security Privacy plus, and Generally Accepted Privacy Principles (desired) \n* TRAVEL AND WORK HOURS:\nAbility to travel up to 50% and work varied or non-business hours during implementations.Travel is planned at least 2 months in advance.\n \n \n#LI-CHI\n#LI-DH\n#MissionCritical\n#LI-Remote\n\nPay Range\n$44.83 - $65.00 /hour
