Job Description:

An Utility Relations Specialist/Coordinator role is available in Englewood, CO courtesy of Modis/Akkodis. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of relevant experience working with Utility Companies. Job Responsibilities: The Utility Relations Coordinator is responsible for receiving documentation to support permit applications to utility, municipal, and other permitting entities. Pay Range- $30-35.10 per hour / $62,400-73,008 per year Contract Length-12 month Contract Location: Englewood, CO Position Summary The Utility Relations Specialist is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with assigned utilities. The Utility Relations Specialist researches, and prepares Utility Summaries for each new project. Additionally, the Utility Specialist will review initial applications for attachment and power for each new project to ensure conformance with utility requirements, monitor application timelines and assist in resolving delays internally and externally. Additional Job Responsiblities Researches and prepares Utility Summaries for each assigned utility in their area of responsibility, detailing key utility requirements related to network design and equipment, and interfaces with cross-functional teams to update information in databases and authorization analyses. --- Maintains day to day relationships with utilities and supports the timely submittal and processing of attachment applications for poles as well as power delivery. Tracks power applications from submittal to connection. --- Provides research and advice to internal clients regarding conditions of attachment to utility poles, and easements Education/Certifications --- High school diploma or equivalent --- Bachelors Degree preferred Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Experience preparing and submitting permit applications
