Position Summary

This is an open position for art models for the Metropolitan State University of Denver's Department of Art. Models are expected to pose nude for student coursework and should be able to hold poses for as short as 30 seconds to as long as the duration of the class period. Models are provided a short break after holding the same pose for 20 minutes. While athletic ability is not required, body awareness and the ability to twist, turn, bend and accentuate the 3-dimensional qualities of the human figure in poses are highly desirable. Models of all genders, ages, and body types are encouraged to apply. The work is performed in an indoor studio setting under the supervision of the class instructor during class hours. Expected work hours are generally scheduled by the instructor in 2-hour blocks.

This position is categorized as a temporary, non-benefits eligible, hourly position. Models are not eligible to receive validated parking passes. Candidates offered a position will be required to pass pre-employment screenings as mandated by MSU Denver's Human Resources Department. These screenings include a background check.

In order for your application to be complete, you will need to include the following documents;
1. Resume
2. Cover Letter that tells us who you are as a model, describing your level of physical awareness, training, stamina, initiative, creativity, and work ethic.

We expect all art model employees to join faculty and staff as we embark on the process of expanding our understanding of our commonalities and differences, and remain committed to:
* Respecting the dignity and essential worth of all individuals,
* Fostering mutual respect, including respecting the privacy, property, and agency of others,
* Examining and challenging our own biases and beliefs,
* Promoting the diversity of opinions, ideas, and backgrounds which enriches the culture of the department, college, and the university,
