Research Specialist - RMPDS (Job ID: 12373)Job SummaryUnder
general supervision performs a variety of activities within the
research department. Activities primarily support post-market drug
safety and surveillance, public health, and epidemiological
studies. Position may involve management of project(s) or portions
of projects. This position is expected to be a subject matter
expert. Responsibilities1. Serves as the subject matter expert for
assigned projects/programs. 2. Trains other staff on area(s) of
expertise. 3. Operationalizes research tasks. 4. Manages
small-scale projects and/or contribute to the management of large
projects. 5. Initiates troubleshooting and problem solving of
project management issues in areas of expertise. 6. Manages data
collection processes. 7. Develops literature searches including
search terms, summary tools and process for summarization and
reporting. 8. Summarizes literature for internal reference purposes
and for external deliverables. 9. Assists in the development and
management of research protocols and procedures. 10. Initiates and
prepares submission of IRB, FDA, and sponsor documents and reports.
11. Manages development and review of reports and other
deliverables. 12. Leads the formatting of publications for
submission per journal requirements. 13. Assists in the translation
of scientific results in the form of abstracts, papers, and
presentations. 14. Effectively communicates and collaborates with
site partners and internally across departments. 15. Develops and
manages work instructions and contribute to SOPs. 16. Supports
communication with clients, including contributing to proposals,
and managing client relations. 17. Prioritizes multiple tasks
according to daily, weekly, quarterly, or annual deadlines. 18.
Supports the monitoring of budget and grant administration
activities. 19. Facilitates project and team meetings. 20. Other
duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent
interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to
manage multiple projects effectively. High attention to detail and
ability to contribute to multiple projects effectively and
independently. Ability to demonstrate excellent work with minimal
supervision. Ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving
skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, apply research methods, and
conduct general research. Education* Bachelor's Degree (Required) *
