This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Insurance Benefits Verification Coordinator to join our Business Office at our Denver, CO office. The schedule is working Monday through Friday; daytime hours. COVID-19 Vaccination SGF requires all applicants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before commencing employment. New hires will be required to furnish proof of full vaccination prior to their start date. There may be alternative for an approved exemption based on bona fide medical or religious grounds. How You'll Contribute: We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn---t specifically our ---job.--- In general, the Insurance Benefits Verification Coordinator is responsible for: Obtain accurate benefits & eligibility information for fertility patients Notify patients prior to appointment regarding referrals, obtaining authorizations Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating person, financial and insurance information Provide financial support to ensure patient understands financial obligations and process. Effectively work with assigned insurance carrier(s) to resolve referral, authorization and predetermine issues. What You'll Bring: The skills and education we need are: Minimum 2 years experience with associate degree, or minimum 5 years experience without associate degree. Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billing Experience working in an OB/GYN office is a plus Strong communication skills, independent worker, detailed-oriented, computer savvy High level of customer service essential The qualified applicant will be a self-starter, a great multi-tasker and an independent worker. In addition, the successful candidate will be organized, detailed-oriented, strong computer experience a must and empathic to patients needs'.
