is eligible for additional incentive compensation based on
achievement of established incentive goals. The monthly average
incentive can range from $0 if no goals are met and can be more

account opening process accurately. Successful Personal Bankers are

understanding and promoting bank products and services to
individuals and companies; conducting accurate banking transactions
in a fast-paced environment and working with a team to achieve
individual and group goals. Principal Accountabilities: ---
Provides "fast, easy, and personal" consistent with Company client
service standards, including by resolving problems, building
relationships, handling special requests, greeting clients in a
friendly manner that makes them feel welcome to Academy Bank, and
taking ownership in all situations ensuring follow through and a
timely resolution. --- Promotes consumer/small business banking
products and services to clients and prospects using direct sales
techniques in and around the assigned banking center, that include
handing out product brochures, engaging potential clients in
conversations about banking needs, and speaking with knowledge and
positivity about the bank's products and services. --- Achieves
specific sales goals on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual
basis. --- Develops and maintains relationships with business
partners to maximize opportunities and to achieve sales standards.
Provides a broad base of financial services with the goal of
earning 100% of the client's business. --- Opens checking and
savings accounts, processes client transactions, and recommends
other bank products, including credit cards and loans. --- Actively
demonstrates digital expertise by using our digital platforms and
educating clients and associates about our digital banking
platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, online banking and
bill pay/external transfers, mobile banking app to include text
alerts and mobile deposits, usage of smart ATM/ITM's, usage of chat
box, and all other self-service channels. --- Works closely with
clients and business partners to refer products and services to
other business lines. --- Educates and provides clients with other
banking services; resolves client concerns and issues efficiently
and effectively. --- Ethically conducts operational tasks related
to protecting client and bank assets related to regulatory
compliance, including properly documenting account opening,
accounting for cash and negotiable instruments under dual control,
accurately completing logs and other records to document proper
procedures, obtaining and ensuring the accuracy of all regulatory
and procedural documentation. --- Protects all client information
and bank trade secrets and business records as confidential, and
follows all company policies for communication with clients,
vendors, and associates. --- When delegated by Banking Center
Manager, implements all banking center operations procedures,
including accurate maintenance of cash supplies, timely auditing,
accurate documentation of banking transactions, compliance
requirements, and acts with overall operational integrity. ---
Maintains current knowledge and consistent compliance with
regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the
position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements; Associate
Handbook policies; and Operations, Audit, and Security policies,
through regular and thorough training. --- Understands, embodies,
communicates, and instills corporate initiatives and vision,
including the Six Pillars of Success. --- Completes other specified
duties as assigned. --- Regular attendance required, working at the
work site during regular business hours and/or assigned hours,
including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the
banking center. Minimum Qualifications: --- High school diploma,
GED, or equivalent is required; Associate degree or higher
preferred. --- Previous banking experience preferred. --- 6 months
in a client service experience role preferred. --- Minimum 6 months
sales experience preferred. --- Minimum 6 months cash handling
experience preferred. --- Strong written and verbal communication
skills required. --- Strong attention to detail and ability to
complete work accurately. --- Ability to organize work. --- Strong
sales skills. --- Basic math skills including the ability to
calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages.
--- Proficient in basic office skills/equipment, including
computer, email, ten-key calculator, copier, scanner/fax, typing,
telephone, organization systems, and Microsoft Office suite of
products. Work Environment: The following is intended to give an
overview of the work environment of the position but is not an
exhaustive list. --- Work hours may vary based on the Banking
Center hours of operation. --- Work hours based on business needs
and may require flexible scheduling and/or location. --- Must be
able to work in a fast-paced environment. --- Must be able to work
overtime as required and when approved by management. Physical
Requirements: The work environment is typical of standard office
and retail banking settings. The position is medium work, exerting
up to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and worker may sit,
including for client meetings and computer work, but worker will
frequently stand or make one's way throughout different areas of
banking center and when conducting outside sales activities.
Standing and making one's way may be required for sustained periods
of time for moving from one work site to another both inside and
outside the banking center and for conducting banking transactions.
Reaching may be required involving extending arms in any direction.
Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone will be used,
requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard or keypad. Visual
ability to read a computer screen or written documents is
necessary. Speaking ability to express or exchange ideas; impart
oral information to clients, staff, or to the public; or convey
detailed or important spoken instructions by means of the spoken
word is required. Hearing is necessary to receive detailed
information through oral communication. Qualified applicants will
