City). About the RoleBioIntelliSense is looking for a talented and
highly motivated Product Inspector. Reporting to the Director of
Integrated Supply Chain and Manufacturing Services, the Product
Inspector will play a critical role as the company undergoes rapid
growth. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, a
self-starter with strong analytical skills. Someone that takes
ownership of working area and implement improvements with minimum
supervision. The Product Inspector is responsible for performing
visual and dimensional product inspection on manufactured parts/
products/ raw material to released drawings and specifications, as
well as validating the correct firmware is on loaded on each
device. Responsibilities:
- Complete daily tasks in accordance with BioIntelliSense
Policies and Procedures
- Complete daily tasks in accordance with safety rules and
regulations
- Must follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Perform inspection of incoming raw materials and in-process
devices to current drawings, specifications, work instructions
- Record inspection data/results accurately
- Support and follow all ISO 13485 standards
- Maintain inspection records and conduct the final release of
all incoming raw materials and Service and Fulfillment work
orders
- Perform general 5S activities daily
- Perform other duties and requests, as assigned
- Identify and report non-conforming material and product
- Understand and apply product traceability
- Perform packaging and labeling
- Utilize a wide range of instruments, tools, measuring
equipment, and test and measuring instruments
- Inspect and record of First Article Inspections (FAI) and daily
inspections
- Help develop and implement procedures and work
instructions
- Demonstrate ability to read, understand, interpret, and
implement technical procedures and work instructions
- Able to retrieve information, train and transfer knowledge to
team members
- Ability to lead and positively influence others in a team-based
environment
Requirements:
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Must have manufacturing and inspection experience within the
medical device industry
- Previous experience in an FDA and/or ISO 13485 regulated
environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge and use of relevant computer software applications
and skills to use them effectively
- Basic math skills
- Familiar with the and use of various inspection tool, methods,
and techniques
- Strong communications skills with the ability to read and write
in English is required
- Ability to work independently Physical Requirements
- Job duties are performed in a warehouse setting. This position
requires reading, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting,
and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
