Job Description

At CoBank, our Server Administrators perform general server administrator duties including configuration, server builds/decommissions, administration of hardware/software and the diagnosis and resolution of issues within CoBank's Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure. In addition, this position provides 24x7 support, monitors and addresses Incident & Request tickets, reviews daily system reports for errors and maintains documentation for processes/procedures for operating the environment. - Why This JobThis person would have the privilege of working on a small collaborative team that provides opportunities to work with many technologies and administrative scenarios. This includes Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, ESX, VDI, Workspace ONE, Cisco UCS, PowerShell, DNS, DHCP, SolarWinds, Disaster recovery (planning, implementing and recovery) and high availability.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a relevant discipline.Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing, configuring and administering the Windows Operating System. -Will have working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, VMware technologies; or appropriate combination of education and experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience using PowerShell for scripting and automation. - Experience working with and administering VMware.Experience working with SAN/NAS storage technologies. Knowledge of most current developments in Microsoft server technology. - Knowledge of IT Service Management and Operating methodologies (e.g., ITIL).Ability to work directly with customers and vendors.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred.Experience working in a multi-datacenter environment including maintenance and testing around disaster recovery.Experience with Cisco UCS technology.Experience working with mobile management technologies (e.g. Workspace One) Experience working with Certificate Services technologies.Knowledge of Cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure)Strong understanding of networking concepts, components and protocols (e.g. firewall, router, switch, ports, TCPIP, VPN).Knowledge of most current developments in Microsoft server technology. - Experience working with monitoring tools and technologiesAbility to work directly with customers, senior management and vendors.Some travel may be required.Compensation InformationEstimated Base Salary Range: $80,000-$125,000Target short-term incentive opportunity: 13-15%
