Type: Full-TimePay range: $15.00 to $22.50 per hour (pay rate depends on qualification and experience)Bonus: Signing bonus eligibleThe primary goal of the Bilingual Parenting Program Educator/Facilitator is to facilitate the Babies Ready for College's (BRFC), Next Step Play & Learn Group (PLG) and Short & Sweet Book Club for primarily Spanish speaking groups. The mission of these three programs is to prepare children for school success and long-term student achievement through working with Family, Friend, and Neighbor providers and parents. The responsibility of the Facilitator is to model, coach, and provide information to parents/caregivers on how to support children's development. There will be both remote and in-person sessions. Must be an outstanding communicator and rapport-builder with parents.Responsibilities include for the Parenting Program Parent Educator:Facilitate BRFC, Next Steps, PLG, and Short & Sweet Book Clubs by modeling appropriate developmental practices and activities in English and/or SpanishProvide information to parents/caregivers on how to support children's development with the goal of having parents understand their role in preparing children for school successAssess children using the Ages and Stages QuestionnaireObserve, collect document, and assess young children using Teaching Strategies GOLD via three checkpoints per yearComplete and enter education paperwork including assessments in web based databaseComplete home visits and parent teacher conferences twice a yearEncourage parent leadershipAttend and participate in cross disciplinary team meetingsParticipate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
