$21 per hourFree Parking or Free RTD PassPosition Summary:The Overnight Front Office Supervisor primarily supervises the front office team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Responsible for the safety and security of the building during night auditResponds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.You will also ensure hotel charges are processed diligently to guest's accounts, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements. Essential Functions of the Job:Ensure outstanding customer care at all times.Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue.Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation.Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guest's preferences and special requests.Operates the EPBX equipment, including, assisting incoming & outgoing calls, setting wake-up calls, enabling DND (Do Not Disturb) and paging for in-house guests.Cross Check all billing instructions are correctly updated Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy.Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests.Ensure Front Office Pass-On is always updated at the end of each shift to ensure accuracy of events and pertinent information as it relates to our guests. Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager, or MOD.Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.Assist all departments in servicing the guests during high volume periods.Takes responsibility in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assist FOM..Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary. Additional Job Duties:Completes delegated tasks and projects; assists other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.Ensures agents complete their checklists; informs management if there is anything that time does not permit.Reports to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the Uniform and Dress Code Standards.Reports to shift on time.Enforces and complies with all policies and procedures for Hotel Teatro. Education, Experience, Skills:The desired qualifications of the Front Office Supervisor position includes but are not limited to:1+ years of related experience in a management/supervisory role within a hotel.1+ years of Night Audit experience required.3+ years front office hotel experience requiredAbility to train, mentor and monitor new employees.Computer literate.Cash handling and credit card processing experience required.Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with a broad cross-section of guests.Ability to maintain guest confidentiality and security.OPERA experience and knowledge preferred Physical requirements of the position include:Ability to withstand extreme variations in weather and temperature.Able to physically do all jobs that report to this job position.Requires sitting and/or standing for long periods.Requires standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, talking, hearing and seeing.Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting 50 lbs. on occasion.Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout work areas.Work 8-10 hour days.Able to stand high levels of stress.
