Senior Customer Experience Data Analyst - REMOTE

Job Description:

This individual is responsible for delivering actionable customer survey data and insights. Specializing in data analytics, designs and creates engaging, high-impact and innovative visualizations and interactive graphics to illustrate compelling analytic stories.

Query design and data preparation:

  • Defines parameters for data queries and aggregation based on business requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving data quality through data cleaning and transformation procedures.
  • Creates queries across multiple sources of data to aggregate datasets into a single visualization.
  • Defines and documents data preparation procedures in line with CX Analytics team policies.
  • Designs, documents, develops and deploys survey analyses and sampling frame creation using a variety of computing tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau Prep, Access, Excel).

Visualization design:

  • Designs engaging and user-friendly visualizations for senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Works closely with business users to define and deliver effective data visualizations and reports.
  • Designs and maintains quality assurance (QA) process for reviewing and publishing dashboards into production environment.
  • Works with Analytics/BI system admins to ensure continuity of operations on analytics platforms.
  • Creates, designs and applies data analysis and visualization techniques and solutions  using Tableau and similar tools.
  • Develops re-usable data visualization templates. 
  • Conducts regular QA reviews of existing dashboards for adherence to performance and data quality standards.

Data analysis:

  • Synthesizes and refines raw quantitative and qualitative information into succinct and relevant insights that are comprehensible and impactful to the business.
  • Creates user friendly tools to help measure, manage, and report the effectiveness of customer experience management initiatives.
  • Performs ad hoc analyses that will vary in duration and complexity.

Database design and creation

  • Develops and maintains review processes for CX data resources to ensure data currency and quality
  • Supports development and maintenance of CX data tables and analytics resources
  • Works with IT teams in design of new tables and integration with corporate data mart
  • Works with business users to identify requirements for CX data resources and support analytics partnerships through access management
  • Works with CX Analytics leadership team to develop governance processes around data quality procedures

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Bachelor's in a field of study providing technical and analytic preparation.
5+ years of relevant experience.
May consider an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
Comprehensive working knowledge of SQL including the ability to write queries against large data warehouses (such as SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift and ability to understand efficient aggregation and display principles.
Strong ability to analyze and present data stories in a clear, concise manner.  
Strong working knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualization tools (Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Power BI).
Experience analyzing and/or visualizing survey data, especially from Qualtrics or a similar survey platform.
Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to quickly learn new software applications and concepts as needed., Demonstrated consulting skills, strong customer focus in a complex business environment.
Experience with integrating data from multiple databases/environments (Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift).
Experience managing and analyzing unstructured data.
Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, R, and/or HTML.
Experience with data cleaning, transformation and integration procedures with tools such as Tableau Prep, Informatica or SnapLogic.
