Job Description:

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Business Development Representative for United Drying. United Drying is a 24-hour emergency relief team certified in water, fire and mold restoration services for residences, businesses and corporations and for natural disaster catastrophes. They are located in Silverthorne, CO and looking to expand into the Denver area. They are seeking a candidate who can create new prospects and clients, provide exceptional customer service and show compassion while building new relationships with organizations to continue the growth of the company in the Denver market. The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account. They will need to generate and secure new sales revenue by prospecting and adding customers. This role will also include some travel with the owner of United Drying during hurricane season, to secure work in other states.

Compensation:

  • $50-55K base salary, plus commission
  • Six-figure earning potential

Responsibilities:

  • Design an action plan to successfully create new business and build client relationships
  • Responsible for achieving company sales targets and update management on the status of accounts
  • Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community
  • Regularly attend client meetings, trade shows, networking events, conferences, etc.
  • Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.
  • Seasonal travel to secure large loss work in other states

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years previous experience working in a sales role and or as a business development representative, preferably outside sales
  • Experience selling services, strongly preferred
  • Industry knowledge or the ability to seek knowledge if new to the industry
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a must
  • Strong communication and negotiations skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and have a clean driving record
