In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our Procurement team. The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle by quoting, invoicing, shipping logistics, and CSP clients. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Researching and building business and cost-effective quotes for clients
  • Tracking products and ensuring that all orders are successfully delivered to client locations
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing relationships with vendors, clients, and other partners
  • Partnering with Greystone team members and service lines to ensure that each client is supported fully through the procurement process
  • Looking for ways to continue to build on existing procurement engagements or other relationships within Greystone

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • BA in business or equivalent experience
  • A basic knowledge of technical hardware and software (workstations, servers, firewalls, switches, Microsoft licensing) required 
  • Ability to learn sourcing and procurement techniques as well as learning third-party procurement management software
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with full catalog of vendors
  • Ability to quickly change tasks and focus on priority items
  • Account management or sales experience preferred
  • Previous experience with purchasing at a technology company a plus
  • A background in technical support is a plus

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily knowledge-worker oriented using computer systems.  Occasional exertion and lifting of up to 20 pounds to move office or computer equipment.  Occasional crawling, kneeling, and squatting.  Constant use of computer (keyboard/mouse), and phone.  Occasional travel (car).  Occasional exposure to outdoor environmental conditions as a result of travel.
