The PositionAs a Special Market Accounts Manager, you will interact with existing customers and prospect new customers to increase sales in the categories of DSO s (Dental Service Organization), Schools, IHS (Indian Health Service), Community Health Clinics, Department of Corrections, US Military and any other Special Market Accounts. You will increase profitability by promoting products, providing technical support, and cultivating relationships.Being an SMA Manager at a lean and rapidly evolving company, you will also be required to quickly learn and adapt to market drivers which support new business development. As a member of a dynamic team, you will work closely with Territory Sales Representatives across the country to gain an understanding of what our Special Market Account customers want, creating solutions and ensuring a smooth sales process.You will be a dynamic team player capable of adapting to an ever changing business and regulatory environment. An ideal candidate will have a flexible and learning mindset, be able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment and have a passion for pursuing creative solutions in an unrelenting drive to improve the lives of patients and our business.ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute sales plans to meet and/or exceed sales objectivesDetermine sales potential for new and existing customers through inquiry, observation or researchDetermine customer technical requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific productsIncrease business and account base by finding and qualifying new business accounts using sales techniques to cross sell and up sellCollaborate with Regional Managers and Territory Sales Reps for specialized sales and sensitive or high-valued clientsEducate customers on the full line of Sterisil productsUse Salesforce to document client information, sales activities and opportunitiesMaintain and improve customer relationships and satisfactionAssist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as neededClearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholdersForecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)Attend and participate in trade shows and other sales activitiesWho You AreB.S. in Business or Science2 years of Outside Sales experience with demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniquesProvide superior customer serviceMotivated self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environmentSolid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot)Demonstrates good organizational and time utilization skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal to a varied audienceAble to pass a background check for entry onto government properties and military basesAble to travel 25% - 30% of the timeWho We AreThe pioneer of dental water line treatment, Sterisil applies our knowledge of silver-based disinfectants to achieve disinfection limits fifty times lower than CDC and ADA limits.
