Sling TV provides an over-the-top (OTT) live TV streaming service on TVs, smartphones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and other streaming devices. Distributed across a variety of strategic device partners, including Roku, Google, Amazon, Apple, Samsung, LG, Microsoft, and Tivo, Sling TV offers two primary domestic streaming services that collectively include more than 100 channels of top content. Featured programmers include Disney/ESPN, Fox, NBC, AMC, A&E, EPIX, NBA TV, NHL Networks, Pac-12 Networks, Hallmark, ViacomCBS, and more. We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Clients and Partnerships Product team to help drive the success of our iOS and Apple TV applications. You will lead a software development team in solving problems for our Apple customers, and collaborate closely with a cross-functional group of stakeholders to drive toward business outcomes. You will possess deep product knowledge and an eye for the holistic user experience on the Apple platform and drive the delivery of innovative product ideas. The ideal candidate will also require strong external communications and relationship management skills to work with counterparts at Apple. The role is based in Sling TV's Denver, CO area or American Fork, Utah offices. Responsibilities: Own the execution and excellence of your products - be scrappy, solve problems, and take an entrepreneurial approach to deliver against business outcomes and create a delightful viewer experience on iOS and Apple TV Collaborate with partnership management, business development, marketing, and operations to drive Sling's product strategy on iOS and Apple TV Provide leadership to your cross-functional product team, consistently articulating product strategy, sharing learnings both good and bad, making difficult decisions and being accountable for them, prioritizing ruthlessly, representing the team throughout organization, and nurturing strong collaborative relationships within the team Become an acknowledged expert in the organization about the Apple operating system features and roadmap and proactively seek new opportunities to drive Sling business objectives by leveraging these capabilities Conduct user tests, research, and experiments to capture and understand real users' motivations, goals, and pain points Assess competing or similar products in the fast-changing media, television, and digital video landscape Define, monitor, and analyze metrics specific to the iOS and Apple TV applications (e.g. app installs, subscriber acquisition, engagement and viewership, feature adoption, churn) and feed learnings back into the product development process Skills, Experience and Requirements: 2+ years of product management experience with history of shipping high scale consumer digital products, ideally native mobile or video applications Keen interest in the digital video, streaming, and TV industries Passion for collaborating, iterating, and testing with Product Design and Engineering to discover solutions that exceed user expectations and drive business results Obsession with customers and experience personally conducting user research, testing, and optimization High comfort level in analytics and generating customer insights from data trends Can think strategically but is able to roll up your sleeves, get stuff done, and sweat the details Can communicate clearly and effectively - on paper, in person, over email/chat - across all functions and levels of the org as well as externally with partners Ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver on our goals Compensation: $90,000.00/Yr. - $110,000.00/Yr.
