About the role: We are seeking a business development associate who is passionate about growth: for themselves, their team, and their customers. This opportunity is best fit for someone with interest in technology and how it can improve general life. As part of our sales team, you will be all about generating leads: working to identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, trade show visits, and social engagement. You will work to understand our products at a deep level and communicate their value to potential clients. You will work over the phone to book web demonstrations or have follow-up conversations with those interested in the products. You will spend your time filling the pipeline and our CRM with valuable contacts and leads. You can earn bonuses based on qualified leads you have added to the system. Over time, you will be trained to develop your own sales strategies and be able to provide your own demonstrations for future customers. We consider the person in this role to be a sales executive in training, with the role expanding along with your capability to include your input on sales and marketing strategies and campaigns. We expect that a skilled lead generator should be able to assume a role as a senior sales agent within 12-18 months. A successful senior sales agent for Connexionz will consistently make $100k+ per year when meeting sales goals. Travel might be required as your role grows. Our senior sales agents can travel as much as 30-40% during busy times. About you: You have a minimum HS diploma or GED certification and are a proficient computer user (especially with MS Office suite). In addition, these skills and characteristics describe you: -- Goal- or outcome-oriented, including achievement motivation. -- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially high empathy - being able to see things from a customer's point of view, guest service mentality towards prospects. -- Compelling communication skills (both written and verbal), including ability to build rapport, influence and persuade. -- Able to work independently, with effective organizational and time management skills, switching quickly between tasks as demand requires, using personal judgment and efficient decision making. -- Rapid and keen learner - swiftly able to grasp concepts and protocols associated with various software systems and technologies, thriving on continuous learning and development. -- High standards of professionalism and integrity.
