Ability to transition to different departments/move around within the company?Employee discount programsTeamwork and culture information Your role as a Mental Health Worker will involve:Responsible for monitoring patients that are deemed by hospital staff to be a danger to themselves or others, may be a fall risk, or are confused.Utilizes specialized training, de-escalation techniques and other interventionsCommunicates patient status change to nursing staff What are we looking for?Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology or related field, or extensive appropriate experience with the mentally illCurrent valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CP/BLS) CertificationAbility to work on-call and travel to any facility in metro DenverStrong vision abilities, including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustingAbility to stand and walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person What would make you stand out?Previous work experience with the public in a service setting Why HSS?
