As the Senior Government Compliance Analyst, supporting the Government Compliance Group, you'll be actively engaged and lead the preparation and submittal of the annual Federal Incurred Cost Proposal, forward pricing rate proposals, monthly and quarterly rate monitors and intermediate allocations all of which include complex calculations and strong Excel skills. You'll lead your team to provide a thorough analysis of accounting transactions to obtain an understanding of the accounting structure and impact to federal compliance financial reporting. You'll play a critical role in this fast-paced environment, alongside management, supporting Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance.

Additionally, in this role, you'll lead and manage the preparation of the Federal Incurred Cost Proposal. You'll perform cost impact studies and cost modeling, identify and research trends and anomalies in data, and prepare complex spreadsheets, database queries and utilize large datasets to facilitate analyses. You'll lead the statistical sampling process for identification and accounting of unallowable costs under government regulations. Your accounting expertise and understanding of complex general ledger accounting flow, ERP accounting systems, organizational structures and indirect cost rate structures will help you successfully research accounting transactions and analyze the impact to federal compliance and financial reporting. You'll also prepare federal and state required compensation benchmarking and analyses as well as complex calculations related to restricted stock and bonus plans in line with federal regulations.

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field
  • Advanced, progressive and relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis or auditing
  • Knowledge of accounting that includes spreadsheets, ERP Systems and relational data base programs for data processing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Ability to manage, interpret and manipulate large datasets in Excel and other reporting tools
  • Strong organizational ability and detail-oriented
