GENERAL SUMMARY:Sensera Systems is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The BDR will be responsible for driving new business through prospecting, lead generation, inbound lead qualification, and proactive client outreach. This role will be selling the company's unique real-time jobsite intelligence solutions to project teams and company stakeholders. You will develop outreach strategies and uncover sales opportunities from a variety of sources, including cold calling, inbound leads, and existing accounts. There will be set performance targets with significant upside and opportunity to grow within the organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a BDR, you will be expected to:

  • Contribute directly to the success and growth of Sensera Systems by growing sales pipeline, leveraging both new and existing client accounts
  • Manage and qualify inbound sales leads from various lead sources and distribute to proper internal stakeholders
  • Proactively lead outbound sales activity and outreach to prospects across industry verticals through both warm and cold calling campaigns
  • Meet/exceed sales goals and targets set by leadership
  • Utilize internal CRM, LinkedIn, and additional prospecting tools to uncover and target new commercial opportunities
  • Effectively and concisely communicate Sensera Systems' product value propositions to prospects, clients, and business partners
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and manage outreach strategy across client and prospect groups
    • Previous relevant experience in B2B sales
    • Experience selling technology-based solutions to specific industry verticals
    • Proficiency in cold-calling, lead generation, and proactive client outreach
    • Results-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic, organization skills, and attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and professionally communicate with clients and teammates
    • Highly proficient computer skills including internet, Microsoft Office Suite, email, LinkedIn, and CRM systems
    • Ability to comprehend and communicate Sensera Systems' products and services
    • Ability to handle fast-paced environment and challenging workload
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
      COMPENSATION: $50k-80k (Base + Commission)
      DESCRIPTION OF BENEFITS AND OTHER COMPENSATION:Medical, Dental and Vision available. Company provides Basic Life, Short-Term and Long-Term disability. Paid holidays and PTO. Eligible for commissions, bonus and company stock options.
