Description:
Responsible for assisting in the administration and case management
of subsidized housing programs. Applies HUD and PHA-established
policies and procedures to consistently produce on-time and
accurate income, rent and subsidy calculations while ensuring all
State and Federal mandated privacy regulations are being met while
dealing with clients and their information.Maiker Housing Partners

$18.50-$20.80/per hourEssential Duties and Responsibilities include
the following. Other duties may be assigned. Determines initial
tenant eligibility within time frames established.Conducts annual
and interim re-certifications in accordance with Maiker
standards.Conducts one-on-one and group program information
sessions.Negotiates leases, including dispensing program
information to inquiring owners and managers.Answers and responds
to telephone inquiries on behalf of department in a timely
fashion.Inspects units for Housing Quality standards as
needed.Works closely with owners of private property, management,
and leasing agents and tenants to maintain minimum of 98% project
lease up.Provides ongoing case management, public assistance
counseling, and referral services as needed to applicants and
participants.Maintains a comprehensive filing system and
computerized data base for all program participants to ensure that
all documents, letters, and reports are sent out and updated on a
timely basis.Specialized program administration as deemed
necessary; Portability, Wait List/Lottery, HCV, FUP, PBV, VASH and
other specialized programs. Responsible for all contact and data
entry. Works closely with Maiker property staff to ensure
compliance with the Project Based Voucher program rules and
regulations and to ensure 100% occupancy. Complies with all
published policies and procedures established for
Maiker.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an

diploma or GED required and one to two years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.Knowledge of PHA-established policies and
procedures.Knowledge of non-program federal requirements that
affect income and rent determinations, including fair housing and
equal opportunity, fraud and program abuse, personnel, and
employment practices.Knowledge of HUD-established performance
standards (for HCV, SEMAP indicators) and PHA-established
performance standards as they relate to income and rent
determinations.Knowledge of program requirements and guidance as
reflected in HUD regulations, handbook, notices, forms, and
guides.Computer literacy, including personal computing, accuracy in
data entry, and knowledge of program-related software..
