Since then, Stride has invested into Galvanize's infrastructure to set the company up for short and long-term success and growth. The addition of this role on the Executive team is to double down on that investment. Galvanize is hiring for a Chief of Staff that will report directly into the Chief Executive Officer. This operational and strategic role will help the CEO, the Executive Team, and the company be more productive and successful. The primary responsibilities of this job will anchor on operations, communications, and the delivery of strategic Initiatives, amongst other things. The desired candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization. A high degree of autonomy is required to identify the optimal priorities while rallying individuals and executives around them to get them done. This individual should be able to learn quickly, adapt to new situations and environments, and be thrown into any situation and thrive.     • No job is too large or too small; do whatever it takes to make the company more successful
      • Represent Galvanize, the Executive Team, and the CEO at all times
      • Be ready to play multiple roles on behalf of multiple people at multiple levels
      • Partner selflessly across multiple teams; be efficient and considerate of others' time

          • Shape metrics and dashboards to help the Executive Team and company operate
          • Establish cadence of key meetings (e.g., off-site, All Hands) that drive the company
          • Look for opportunities within the teams of Executive Team members; help as needed
          • Protect the Executive Team from requests and tasks that you can handle
          • Help drive, lead, co-lead, partner, delegate, organize, and track key strategic initiatives
            • Convert general ideas of the Executive Team into actionable plans with little intervention
            • Handle issues that you can handle while surfacing issues that need surfaced
            • Drive meetings, organized thinking, and key problem solving sessions, as needed
            • Consistently track the Top X initiatives of the company; measure and report out
            • Transition your way out of each job; find a long-term home once it becomes manageable
            • Craft and drive key communications for the company, Executive Team, and CEO
              • Handle all internal and external communications; get drafts to 90%+ "independently"
              • Take pride in the quality and clarity of communications, specifically those externally facing
              • Tap into the sentiment of the company to constantly know what people need to hear
              • Help the CEO develop effective narratives; collaborate with other leaders as needed
              • Drive home the goals and strategy of the organization in everything you do Supervisor Responsibilities:--May eventually supervise 3 - 7 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carry supervisor responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Minimum Required Qualifications:--
                • 1 - 5 years of consulting, finance, or operational experience
                • Strong problem solving, teamwork, and written and verbal communication skills
                • Strong presentation (e.g., Google Slides) and data analysis (e.g., Google Sheets) skills
                • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
                • Strong strategic and growth mindset
                • Strong EQ and ability to read the room
                • High self-drive and autonomy
                • Comfortable with an ambiguous, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment Other Desired Qualifications:
                  • Familiarity with (or at the very least, a willingness to become familiar with) Salesforce
                  • Familiarity with statistics
                  • Familiarity with product knowledge (e.g., data science, software engineering) Work Environment:--

                    • This is an office-based position. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic). Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.--
                      • The minimum annual compensation may be around $90,000 . The average annual maximum compensation may be around $120,000.
                      • This position will be bonus eligible with an expected 20% target.--
