What will you be responsible for?
The Deputy Integrity & Compliance Officer (Deputy) of Business
Integrity & Compliance (BI&C) will be based at the Denver HQ
and will report directly to the Chief Integrity & Compliance
Officer. The Deputy will be responsible for assisting with and
managing the implementation of the global BI&C program. The
Deputy will be responsible for applying BI&C knowledge and
experience to implement standard methodologies to sustain and
improve the efficiency of the Company's global BI&C program.
The Deputy will also work closely with BI&C and other personnel
on corporate investigations, global anti-bribery assessments, third
party due diligence/monitoring and other compliance matters, as
vital. In this role you will Here is a snapshot of what your day to
day will look like:
- Responsible for leading all aspects of and managing BI&C's
core programmatic activities including global investigations and
case management and the global anti-corruption program including
external due diligence and monitoring.
- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the
Company's Code of Conduct (Code) and related policies and
standards, ensuring the content is timely and relevant.
- Lead and manage compliance reviews/audits and risk assessments
to identify compliance risks and implement programmatic
improvements to close internal controls gaps or deficiencies.
- Develop effective communications, training materials and tools
related to the Code to promote the importance of a strong integrity
culture and awareness of our BI&C program.
- Improve, maintain and supervise appropriate metrics against
which the Company can measure the efficiency and continuous
improvement of its global BI&C program.
- Participate in and lead special projects, as vital, relating to
compliance concerns or initiatives. The above duties and

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant area
- Law degree and active license to practice law preferred but not
- In depth familiarity with corporate ethics and compliance
issues, requirements and topics (specifically including the FCPA,
UKBA and corporate investigations) Experience:
- Experience working in a large, diverse multinational
- Experience working in a mining/extractive services environment
preferred but not required
- Experience leading/managing diverse, remote teams
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance and/or related
- Experience working with government and regulatory
- Experience with global trade compliance preferred but not
- Strong compliance systems knowledge and experience - Third
Party Due Diligence platforms, Helpline and Case Management tools,
COI disclosure platforms, etc. Skills and Abilities:
- Strong project management experience including the ability to
work efficiently and proactively, prioritize workflow, meet fast
paced deadlines (including outside normal US business hours), and
manage multi-dimensional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional execution and strong commitment to process
- Self-starter and effective in driving cross-functional
- Organizational agility and excellent writing and communication
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and proven track
record to influence at the most senior levels of an

Working conditions and location Where you will be located!
- The position is located in the Denver corporate office.
- Position may be required to perform extensive travel to
domestic and international sites.
The salary range offered for this role is $ 148,160 to 194,460 .
The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed
in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be
based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The
salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at
other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about
salary history, and candidates should not share such information
with Newmont. This role will be eligible for participation in a
discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee
may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's
performance and their own individual performance. This role also
will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term
incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards
