Job Description:

Role Summary:This position is responsible for targeting and selling to telecom providers and strategic businesses within the UCaaS, CPaaS, Hosted PBX, IXC, CLEC and other wholesale/carrier accounts within the telecommunications sector. In addition, the National Account Executive develops and manages relationships with existing wholesale customers upselling additional services to grow revenue while maintaining existing revenue. A National Account Executive meets monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals set by the leadership team through aggressive prospecting new accounts and selling into an assigned account base. This role requires strong business development, proactive follow-up, and customer management skills to support long-term business opportunities and strategic relationshipsJob Duties:* Grow revenue by promoting the VoIP Innovations wholesale products and services to targeted prospects and existing accounts (regionally, nationally and globally).* Create strong relationships based on trust, integrity and customer satisfaction to effectively drive sales and grow revenue.* Execute a sales strategy that meets or exceeds revenue objectives.* Responsible for identifying and selling to new Wholesale/Carrier customers.* Responsible for upselling to existing customers.* Providing product demonstrations via online web meetings.* Creating proposals and quotes for prospects and existing wholesale customers.* Providing competitive analysis and positioning to prospects and wholesale customers.* Providing relevant account-specific content to add value throughout the sales process.* Follow the contract process and lead on contract negotiations.* Stay informed with industry updates and competition.* Become a trusted advisor to your customer.* Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan.* Lead all stages of the sales cycle to support the conversion of opportunities to sales.* Consistently document all interactions in our Salesforce.com CRM system.Qualifications Required:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales/industry experience.* 3+ years of experience in Wholesale/Carrier sales and account management.* Understanding of the telecommunications industry with technical aptitude.* Demonstrates success by consistently meeting or exceeding a monthly/annual sales quota.* A proven ability to generate leads, sell and onboard new accounts, and develop and manage a pipeline.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, facilitation and presentation techniques.* Experience in a wholesale/carrier sales environment focused on UCaaS, CPaaS, API centric in the telecommunications sector.* Proven track record in business development and carrier sales.* Strong network of wholesale contacts, prospects in region & nationally to be leveraged for new sales and account onboarding.* Ability to communicate with C level executives within an organization.* Product knowledge of DID, Toll Free, CNAM, E911, Messaging is essential.* Account management skills necessary maintaining customer retention.* Strong communication and business writing skills.* Minimum Intermediate skills with Microsoft office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.* Experience with Salesforce.* Quota achievement* Entrepreneurial* Self-Driven* Hunter mentalityBenefits:We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, which is designed to promote their personal well being as well as of their families.
