role What will you be responsible for?
Focus will be executing Newmont's digital strategy across the
Company's (Internal/External) digital channels. Will be capable of
identifying stories within Newmont to be developed into relevant
and engaging digital and social media content across multiple
social media channels (Newmont.com/Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter) or
(Discovery/Yammer). The role will work directly with the Digital
Communications Manger and coordinate closely with their Digital
Communications Specialist peer.

day will look like: We are responsible for implementing Newmont's
global online strategy to creative a distinctive user experience
including contributing creative elements to Newmont's line of
online services, products and programs in collaboration with the
Digital Communications Manager and Manager of External
Communications and Brand Management.
We work closely with Strategic Communications colleagues as well as
Newmont peers in the Regions to deliver content across Newmont's
We proactively identify moments for social media content to help
elevate a company's brand and employee engagement.
We write content for Newmont's social media channels and
Newmont.com as well as writing short-, medium- and long-form
content for other outlets both internal and external.
We execute the day-to-day functions of Newmont's (internal and
external) digital communications.

--- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or other
Communications subject area.
--- Post graduate communications or marketing work preferred.
--- Min. 2 years of experience in corporate communications or

--- Understanding of the importance of using data to turn insights
--- Solid understanding of digital trends, tools and data-centric
Skills and Abilities:
--- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
--- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
--- Excellent planning, organizing and project management
--- Experience with graphic design software including Adobe
Creative Suite, marketing automation platforms, website content
management systems, SEO and SEM strategies, and social media
--- Familiarity with AP Style preferred.

-- The salary range offered for this role is $ 75,680- 99,330 . The
salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in
Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be
based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The
salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at
other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about
salary history, and candidates should not share such information
with Newmont. This role will be eligible for participation in a
discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee
may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's
