Schedule: Full time - Night shift - 12 hr. shift - 7pm - 7:30am - must be able to work every other weekendWhat will you do in this role: * Partner with our licensed nurses to provide the highest quality of care and service to our residents.* Provide essential?nursing?care that?involves?assistance with resident's daily living needs while supporting their emotional wellbeing * Under the supervision of the Director, develops a written recreation plan of care for each resident* Adhere to and reinforce proper infection control measures* Partner with Life Enrichment to provide companionship, stimulation and engagement to each resident* Assist with light housekeeping tasks * Perform departmental organizational tasks such as documentation in PCC & Life Loop, organization of medical supplies, carts and medical storage areasYou have: * A talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members * The ability to provide a high level of compassion and care for our elderly residents* The ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and adhere to all HIPPA regulations* The ability to read, write and communicate in EnglishYou might also have: * Experience as a care partner for the elderly and memory impaired* Customer service experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: * The ability to walk the duration of your shift * Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. * The ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. of resistance* Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed * May be exposed to unpleasant odors, contagious diseases and blood borne pathogens * Balfour is a pet-friendly community; you may be exposed to animal hair and dander Why work for Balfour?* Healthcare coverage for eligible employees working 32 or more hours per week (Full & 3/4 time status)* Medical, dental and vision plan coverage* Paid time off (PTO) and sick time for full and part time employees* Tuition Reimbursement Program* Employee Referral Bonus Program* Employee Resident Referral Bonus ProgramHealth & Wellness Protocols: Interviews and training will take place in accordance with appropriate agency recommendations at the time.
