Job Description Job Description Title: Warehouse Shift Lead JOB REQUIREMENTS and RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL The successful candidate must possess: A commitment to the core values of Western Sugar Cooperative Safety – Integrity – Openness & Trust – Teamwork- Entrepreneurship – Social Responsibility Commitment to personal and food safety as well as efficient operations. Applicants must have good oral and written communication skills Commitment to regular attendance Basic computer and maintenance knowledge Applicants should possess ability to develop effective time management skills Job requires multi-tasking, good organizational skills, and self motivation Applicants must work well within a crew context Candidate may be required to work shifts, which will include weekends Applicants must have initiative to work with little supervision Required to work overtime with little or no notice Able to lift 100 lbs Follow required Good Manufacturing Practices, BRC guidelines, good hygiene, and safety protocols Maintain high ethical standards EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Forklift experience Knowledge of sugar truck loading, inspection, and documentation Inventory control and documentation Good customer service and lead supervisory skills Accurate and timely record keeping and reporting skills Basic mechanical skills Torch and welding skills a plus EDUCATION High School Diploma or Equivalent NOTE: All these skills and experiences outlined above are preferred but are not required to be considered for this position.
