Job Description Job Description Employment Attorney - Remote Employment Attorney - Remote Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Employment Attorney to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in labor and employment law, providing legal guidance, and representing clients in employment-related litigation. The position aims to ensure compliance with employment laws and protect the rights of both employers and employees. Key Responsibilities - Provide legal advice to clients on employment law matters, including compliance and risk management. - Represent clients in employment litigation, including disputes related to wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour claims. - Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and handbooks to ensure legal compliance. - Conduct legal research to stay informed on current employment law trends and rulings. - Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for HR and management regarding employment practices. - Negotiate settlements and manage all aspects of employment-related litigation and disputes. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active bar membership in relevant jurisdictions. - 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on employment defense. - Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations at both federal and state levels. - Excellent litigation skills and experience in handling employment-related disputes. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
