Title: Senior Qlik Developer
Location: Either Dallas, TX or St Louis, MO
W2 ONLY
- The Senior Qlik Developer should have a strong well rounded foundation in various aspects of Information Technology with at least a basic understanding of networks, databases, Point email servers and file shares.
- The Senior Qlik Developer must be confident enough in their skills to be able to help guide users away from bad designs.
- The Senior Qlik Developer should be passionate about Business Intelligence and Qlik.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in full development lifecycle from system design, development, testing and production implementation following Agile Methodologies.
- Extract, transform and load data from multiple sources into Qlik.
- Perform data and systems analysis to translate business needs into technical code, as well as maintain and support code
- Troubleshoot issues with existing data model and dashboards.
- Modify existing dashboards creating the next major release that incorporates new features from user feedback.
- Create new dashboards from scratch based on requirements provided from Business Analysts and end users.
- Perform initial QA tests on dashboard changes comparing old versions to new versions.
- Help gather requirements from the users guiding them to the right decisions by getting to the real business requirements.
- knowledge through peer code reviews with other developers.
- Monitor and address data quality issues.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation.
- Adhere to and help set standards for design and coding, source control and documentation.
Skills
- Experience in Agile software development processes and techniques.
- Minimum of 4 full Qlik Sense or QlikView implementations where the candidate participated in both a Development or Technical Lead Role.
- Experience with QMC
- Experience with SQL (any platform).
Nice to Have:
- Qlik Sense Mashup design and development experience including Qlik extensions and various programming languages (java script, html, css, etc.)
- QlikView/Qlik Sense developer, designer certification(s)
- T-SQL a plus
