Multi-Domain Operations, a division within Northrop Grumman’s Space
Systems Sector is known for pushing the boundaries of innovation,

chartered by providing the skills, and innovative technologies to
develop, design, produce, and sustain optimized product lines
across the sector while providing a decisive advantage to the
warfighter. We are seeking experienced Software Integrators to join
our team and contribute to the managing complex, company systems
and multi-vendor IT environments to ensure system interoperability.
This role will require the selected candidate to connect different
hardware, software, and networking, into a single, cohesive, and
functional, optimized, and secure system. Our Software Integrators
act as consultants, designers, and builders, analyzing internal and
customer needs to integrate disparate subsystems for better
performance and efficiency. A solid grasp of systems integration
lifecycle and best practices is critical, including testing, and
continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). The Software
Integrator will work within an Agile team supporting multiple
software and hardware products/baselines, prioritizing
enhancements, and managing tasks efficiently to ensure smooth
delivery of an integrated baseline/system. The ideal candidate will
possess a strong understanding of system level software and
hardware architecture, how software and hardware components
interact within complex systems, and how to translate customer
needs into actionable development tasks. About our organization: As
an engineer, you'll be joining our growing Aurora Software
department which has 200 Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer,
Systems Administrator, Database Administrator, and Network Engineer
peers from entry-level to the most senior chief engineers and
architects. Staff Software Engineers frequently get into informal
(example: Subject Matter Expert) and formal technical leadership
roles within their programs, as applicable and per interest. We
have plenty of opportunities for career advancement into higher
level technical roles or leadership positions. Our Software
Department is part of a larger organization that includes Systems
Engineering, Integration, and Test staff as well as a Hardware
Engineering unit. This larger organization influences cross-program
collaboration, professional development and training, as well as
engagement and inclusion activities such as lunch-n-learns, campus
events, and leadership mixers. Basic Qualifications: Sr. Principal
(level 4): Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8 years of software
development experience; 6 years with a Master's; or 4 additional
years of experience in lieu of a degree. An active Top Secret
clearance with SCI eligibility is required at time of application.
Experience debugging and solving problems when things do not work
out of the box Experience working in a cross-functional agile team
Familiarly working in a Linux environment Having a basic
understanding of java Experience building and maintaining
configuration management documentation Experience in
hardware/software integration Experience in hardware command
protocols (SNMP, GEMS, as examples) Primary Level Salary Range:
$142,200.00 - $213,400.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
