reliable, and always ready. As a Staff Systems Administrator,
you'll be part of the team that keeps our enterprise software
running at peak performance-whether it's hosted in the cloud or
on-premises. You'll maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot critical
applications, networking components, and system infrastructure to
prevent downtime and protect against cybersecurity risks. Your work
will power everything from software deployments to automation
improvements, ensuring our teams and clients have the tools they
need, when they need them. Supporting 24/7 operations, you'll play
a pivotal role in safeguarding uptime, accelerating innovation, and
strengthening the technical backbone that drives Bluestaq's most
important missions. As a Staff Systems Administrato r, you will be
charged with the primary responsibility for maintaining and
supporting the integrity of our system networks by providing
technical support and configuration management. The ideal Staff
Systems Administrator on the Bluestaq team is a
customer-service-driven, professional person who can manage
day-to-day operations and provide tech support to system end-users.
Responsibilities: Maintain and support the integrity of our system
networks by providing technical support and configuration
management. Perform daily maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting
applications, networking problems, and systems issues on both
cloud-hosted and on-premises platforms to ensure our enterprise
software is functioning smoothly. Provide responsive,
solutions-oriented support to system users, helping them resolve
technical issues and ensuring they have reliable access to tools
and systems. Partner closely with Bluestaq's core teams to
troubleshoot, share knowledge, and ensure smooth integration and
collaboration across the organization. Perform software and
computer installations and upgrades, routine automation,
cybersecurity risk mitigation, and technical support Collaborate
closely with stakeholders and system users to understand and
address challenges for improved system performance and
organizational effectiveness. Proactively seek clarification and
ask questions when needed. Influence others positively. Facilitate
mentorship. Apply systems administration skills and knowledge to
creatively approach new problems. Communicate the scope and state
of work effectively. Proactively identify issues and anticipate
potential roadblocks. Seek clarification and ask questions
thoughtfully. Find the right balance between persevering on a
problem and seeking help when needed. Take responsibility for
personal development and display a growth mindset. Independently
prioritize and escalate unforeseen issues as needed. Display a
strong sense of ownership for ensuring the system is available
24/7. Required Qualifications: Willing to support 24/7 operations
and shift work. Proficient understanding of Linux systems
administration. Experience using cloud identity and access
management tools. Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and
security issues. Experience with troubleshooting and debugging
skills, with a passion and curiosity for problem-solving and
investigation. Strong collaboration skills, working across multiple
teams and sharing knowledge. Demonstrated experience mentoring or
coaching team members, sharing knowledge, and supporting
professional development. Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools
such as Confluence and Jira. Foundational networking knowledge.
Experience with help desk service systems and processes. Experience
with cloud-based concepts and the AWS component stack. Advanced
ability to resolve routine issues and problems. CompTIA Security
certification as required by DoD Directive 8140/8570.01-M. Required
Education: 8 years of systems administration/information technology
experience with an Associate degree OR a High School Diploma/GED
with 2 additional years of experience beyond the minimum required
may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Clearance Requirement: This
position requires an active Clearance and the ability to maintain
it. To be eligible for a security clearance, US Citizenship is
required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background
screen and credit check. Eligibility for a SAP Clearance will be
assessed as part of the onboarding process or based on programmatic
needs. Salary Range (CO) $90,000—$120,000 USD Clearance
Requirement: This position may require the ability to obtain a
TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a security clearance, U.S.
citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate
in a background screen and credit check. Eligibility for a TS/SCI
Clearance will be assessed as part of the onboarding process or
based on programmatic needs. Physical Requirements: Prolonged
periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be
able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and
navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates
must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
