ISYS Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer

• 
  
• Back end development in Python
  
• Application development based in Python
  
• Construct applications in Microservice Architecture
  
• Design and monitor automated testing
  
• Contribute to product vision, help set the direction of our platform, and prioritize objectives to deliver maximum value.
  
• Provide demonstrations of developed software to user and peer audiences.
  
• Work with other delivery team members to deliver functional code into a production environment.
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (4 years of experience would be considered in lieu of a degree)
    
  • At least 5 years of related work experience
    
  • Deep knowledge of Python
    
  • Deep knowledge with object-oriented development, specifically C++
    
  • Experience with source configuration management tools such as Git
    
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and ability to communicate hardware and software requirements, configurations, and limitations to customer and development team.
    
  • Development experience with geospatial software (e.g. GDAL/OGR, PostGIS, OGC APIs, ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoServer, OpenLayers, Leaflet, etc)
    
  • AWS development and operational experience, including: Fargate/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
