JOB DESCRIPTION

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Essential job functions included but are not limited to the
following:
--- Design and incorporate new automation with the Performance
Engineering and Automation Practice and publish small and
composable libraries to be reused across the Enterprise for
exploratory, functional, and non-functional (load and performance)
automation purposes
--- Partner with Stakeholders to discover performance requirements,
document critical scenarios, discover data requirements, and
identify potential risks / blockers / limitations
--- Grasp complex application architectures to identify unique
automation techniques to meet the precise performance requirements,
deliver timely results to our Stakeholders, and maintain
sustainable and scalable automation for future reuse and cross-team
publication
--- Prepare data requirements and partner with Scrum Team to plan
and automate data needed for non-functional testing
--- Review specs and technical designs from a testability
perspective
--- Work closely with product and development teams to understand
requirements and technical specifications
--- Create Performance test plans, test cases, and automation for
precise Performance Goals
--- Understand various load test types and performance test types
and advise Stakeholders on the best available technique to meet the
performance goal using the available supported tools and automation
architecture and deliver expected results on time
--- Integrate non-functional performance automation with
self-service continuous testing pipeline
--- Analyze performance results from a performance test batch run
and investigate client-side metrics, server-side metrics / errors /
logs / call stacks / stack traces and publish a Performance
Assessment to our Stakeholders for critical input in release
readiness
--- Document potential application performance defects, root cause
analysis, and potential suggestions on how to fix / address /
improve performance
--- Participate / coach Scrum Team on discovering performance and
automation impact early in the SDLC, such as during Planning,
supplying the automation analysis, and sharing estimates on effort
and cost (where applicable)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
--- Experience with reviewing performance batch runs and
identifying application performance trends, for example memory
leaks, application cache contention, and resource contention, such
as database I/O or network
--- Ability to review APM tool output, such as stack trace and call
stack, to identify application performance contention and share
suggestions with our Stakeholders on how to potentially reduce
performance overhead, optimize application workflow, reduce
exceptions, or improve application code
--- Ability to accurately test / automate product business actions
at various architectural levels, such as UI, presentation, API, and
service-layer, and share the differences / benefits / limitations
of each
--- Working knowledge of OOP coding concepts
--- Unique tact to balance Stakeholder expectations with available
technologies and techniques to deliver an agreed upon performance
test strategy that accurately meets the goals and aligns with
suggested Enterprise standards
--- Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data,
establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and share potential
suggestions on improvement
--- Ability to manage a broad range of deliverables in an
ever-changing environment
--- Ability to communicate and work effectively with
cross-functional teams
--- Ability to comprehend documentation clearly and effectively
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--- Strong time management and organizational skills
--- Detail oriented; demonstrated ability to handle multiple
strategic projects and priorities with efficiency and accuracy
--- An inherent drive to solve problems, collaborate with others
and mentor team members
--- Strong presentation, verbal and written skills as proven with

plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and
practice performance against specific business metrics. Eligibility
is determined by several factors including: start date, good

eligible employees based on both individual and company

Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common
components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs. Salespeople receive
