Will the contractor be working 40 hours a week? If not, weekly estimate? Yes, 40 hours
Does this position require the candidate to be onsite or remote? Needs to be onsite Tuesday and Wednesdays and can opt for onsite or remote for other days
Software Engineer in Test role. Experience & knowledge required:

• Proficient in JavaScript and web testing (frontend and/or backend).
• Working knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
  Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Responsible for contributing to the development of test automation for cutting edge products used in the medical field. Designing, developing, testing, maintaining and documenting/validating software testing components and applications. Participate in all phases of product development as needed such as reviewing requirements, design, usability, risk assessment, and testing execution. Interfacing with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineers. Identify and implement process improvements. Make adjustments or recommend enhancements to systems or processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness.
  • Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Requires a University Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
