currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join
our Ruby on Rails development team. This is a customer facing
position that will interact regularly with project managers,
stakeholders and end-users alike. This candidate will play a
critical role in the organization's custom solutions that are used
to support the laboratory's operations and mission processes. The
ideal candidate will be invested in managing existing code using
industry standard best practices as well as researching and
learning new technologies and frameworks and establishing a
strategy for introducing them in a supportable manner. Daily
responsibilities will include writing, debugging, testing, and
shipping code to dev, test, and production environments with
continuous integration and continuous deployment, serving a tech
lead for the team, mentoring junior developers, and managing daily
stand-ups..**Basic Qualifications**Level V requirementsRelevant
Bachelor's Degree and 14 or more years of experience or equivalent
relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Master's Degree and 12
or more years of experience or equivalent relevant
education/experience. Or, relevant PhD and 9 or more years of
experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.Level IV
requirementsRelevant Bachelor's Degree and 9 or more years of
experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or,

more years experience in the following**+ Being in a Senior-level
or lead-level role leveraging full-stack Ruby on Rails development+
Developing commercial web applications using HTML, AJAX,
JavaScript, SASS, jQuery, BootStrap+ Working with relational
databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle etc.**3 or more years
experience in the following**+ Front-end experience with Vue.js
(preferred), AngularJS, React, or other modern JavaScript
frameworks+ Expert-level Git, Jenkins and JiraThorough
understanding of agile software development methodologies, values
and proceduresSuccessful project management experience with an
emphasis on business solution development within a structured IT
environment Excellent team player with the ability to influence and
negotiateExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills,

per week)**Annual Salary Range: $108,600 - $195,500Offers will
typically be made in the bottom half of the listed range. NREL

market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems,
and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for
