Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for top talent anywhere in the U.S.A, with a
preference for the Denver, CO, or Northern California areas for a
role that is work from home, with occasional travel to meet with
the engineering team (once the pandemic is under control).
We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer to drive the
processes, tools, and architecture to help scale up our cloud
The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in a
leadership role where there are local Cloud implementations across
at least 2 of the following regions (USA, Europe, Asia, Middle
East, etc..). At least 5 years of direct experience in
international privacy and data residency requirements such as GDPR
are required. In addition, working at a scale of over several
million monthly active users across regions is highly desired.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your experience,
roll-up-your-sleeves and significantly contribute to the rapid
development, growth and expansion of BioIntelliSense in delivering
clinical intelligence at a global scale.
- Review and drive the end-to-end system architecture of how the
BioCloud will be deployed and maintained internationally.
- Establish metrics and processes for monitoring uptime and costs
across international cloud deployments.
- Develop cost-optimizations for scale.
- Manage team members across multiple geographies (Asia and North
America).Minimum Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- BS in related field
- 10+ years of software engineering
- 5+ years engineering management experience
- Experience deploying pipelines in the cloud (Google Cloud
preferred, but AWS is OK)
- High attention to detail and organization of code
- Ability to work under pressure in a startup environment
- Full-time - Exempt
- Golden, Colorado or Northern California

The salary range for this role in Colorado is $120,000-$180,000.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various
factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and
abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data and
