Global Technical Sales Manager, Fusion 360 Job Requisition ID #21WD47625 Position Overview Autodesk is disrupting the Design and Manufacturing Industry with Fusion 360, the only cloud-based solution that offers a complete workflow integrating conceptual design, electronic design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and data management.-- The Fusion 360 business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a passionate sales leader to lead the global team of Technical Sales Reps. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional who understands how to direct technical sales efforts into the sales process to demonstrate quantifiable value to our customers. We are a fast-paced team that is passionate about Fusion 360 and how it can dramatically improve our customers workflows and change the manufacturing industry.-- As the Fusion 360 Global Technical Sales Manager, you direct and coordinate the sales engineers to make sure they are effectively supporting the sales teams in North America, Europe, and Asia. You work closely with the sales leadership team to anticipate the upcoming product changes to ensure that your team is ready to support the latest workflows. You are a coach, working closely with the reps to ensure they are on message and focused on the right activities. You observe and notice patterns so that you can optimize the sales efforts to focus on the areas with the highest returns. Leveraging our business analytics, you are analyzing each step of the sales process, tweaking things to get maximum ROI from the team's efforts.-- In addition to your focus on the technical sales team, you take the lead on technical sales readiness for the global Fusion 360 sales team. Leveraging technical expertise from around Autodesk, you bring in the right resources to train the reps as new products and features are rolled out. Responsibilities While this is a "Technical Sales" role, the ideal candidate will have a strong sales experience and will look at the above areas of focus with a broad perspective, thinking about the entire sales process, not just the demo/technical discussion. They should have a technical understanding of our industry and products, but do not necessarily need to be a technical expert. They will be a key part of Fusion Sales Leadership, helping architect our short- and long-term strategies.

  • Manage and develop Technical Sales Reps in NAMER, EMEA, India, Japan, and Australia
  • Optimize sales process to gain maximum impact from our technical resources
  • Monitor analytics to understand conversion rates, activity levels, etc. and tweak sales process and structure based on findings
  • Manage Win/Loss tracking system, provide win/loss insights and reports to share with leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to support webinars and other demand generating activities which require technical sales resources
  • Maintain a bench of candidates to fill positions as they open
  • Drive onboarding and training programs to ensure sales team is confident on industry and product Minimum Qualifications
    • 2+ Years of sales management experience in software / technology
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
    • Experience with (or CRM Equivalent) preferred
    • Strong technical acumen
    • Strong desire to be in technology sales
    • Self-starter, high energy, hungry and results oriented
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
